Your Role on the TEam

The R&D technician will be working with the engineering team to advance, develop, and refine the CF3D manufacturing process. Primary duties include setup and operation of the CF3D print heads and robots. Responsibilities include testing of new components, following test plans, giving feedback on performance to the engineering team, part and assembly fabrication, and general shop duties.

Required Experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and system schematics
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Strong hands-on and mechanical background
  • Eager to learn and work on a variety of projects
  • Ability to work and interact in small group situations with co-workers, customers, and vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tests while maintaining a moderate level of autonomy
  • Maintain clean, organized, and presentable workspace
  • Familiarity with Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills

Desired Experience
  • Associates of Applied Science or 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Hands-on design or building experience
  • Rapid prototyping experience
  • 3D Printing experience
  • Experience with industrial robotic arms
