COMPANY Summary

Continuous Composites is on the forefront of additive manufacturing technology using a novel, continuous fiber-based, 3D printing process. Our engineering team is looking for an experienced, talented, and passionate Control Systems Engineer to further this technology, working in a dynamic, fast-paced, challenging, and cross-functional work environment.

Your role on the team

As a Control Systems Engineer you will research, prototype, and implement cutting edge, continuous fiber, additive manufacturing technology. You will be working intimately with robotics, control systems, and process optimization. You will also help lead the scaling and growth of our technology, heavily investing in quality, testing, tooling, and infrastructure. You will have upfront project ownership and responsibility, and your ideas will directly influence the product and process.

What we're looking for
EXPERIENCE
  • M.S. or B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • Experience in architecting, defining, developing, and implementing robotic and automation equipment.
  • Experience with optimizing complex robotics and automation equipment for safety, ergonomics, quality, flow, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Experience incorporating custom equipment into large systems and processing large amounts of data.
  • Experience with Electrical Engineering principles and design (Analog and Digital design, Embedded systems, Wiring, etc.)
  • Experience with PLCs, NCs, HMIs, and Robotic Drives.
  • Experience with embedded C/C++
  • Hands on attitude to develop prototypes
  • Ability to analyze large features and implement practical solutions.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate across many teams.
  • 2+ years of related industry experience.
